Kim Zimring grew up in Charleston, South Carolina with an English mother and an Australian father, leading to a lifetime of confusion about how to properly pronounce ‘tomato’. She was infected early with the bookworm bug which eventually led to attending the long-standing SFF workshop Clarion. A story workshopped there went on to win first place in its quarter in the Writers of the Future competition.
Since then her stories have appeared in numerous pro markets including Asimov’s, Analog, Hitchcock’s Mystery Magazine, and Daily SF.
Her work has also appeared in the Audible Originals program .
